The Florida car dealer database, franchised and independent, told apart
1,390 Florida dealership rooftops in one table, with the franchise mix, headcounts and years in business you need to tell a 40-year new-car store from a lot that opened last spring. Filter first, unlock at 1 credit a rooftop.
What is the Florida car dealer database?
The Florida car dealer database is a rooftop-level file covering 1,390 Florida dealerships, and its defining problem is segmentation. FADA counts 939 new-car dealerships in the state; our table is larger because Florida's independent lot population is unusually big, and the two segments buy completely differently. So the record gives you what tells them apart: the OEM franchises carried, employee and decision-maker counts, founded year and years in business, live inventory, four department phone lines, social profiles, and the website provider, product and martech signals. Filter to a franchise and you have the new-car network; leave the franchise filter off and set a size or tenure range instead and you are working the independent side. Both halves cost the same 1 credit per rooftop.
The gap between 939 and 1,390
FADA reports Florida's 939 new-car dealerships employ an average of 95 people each. Everything above that number in our table is the independent and used-lot segment. Use the OEM franchise filter to isolate the new-car network; work without it, and you are looking at the market most vendors never map.
Tenure separates the serious from the seasonal
Founded year and years in business are on every record, with a range filter over them. Florida turns over storefronts faster than most states, and a lot in its second year is a different sales conversation from a rooftop that has traded through four cycles.
Five ways to reach the building
Each record carries a primary number plus dedicated main, sales, service and parts lines. If your offer belongs to fixed operations rather than the sales floor, you can call the service desk directly instead of asking a receptionist to transfer you.
Twenty rooftops for $0.99
A trial gives you 20 credits, which is 20 complete Florida rooftop records - enough to check the franchise split and the headcount spread in one metro before you plan a state campaign around it. Plans start at $99/month for 150 credits.

Compliance & sourcing
The Florida-specific thing to know here is on the phone side, and it matters because this product ships five phone columns per store. Florida's telephone solicitation law is stricter than the federal baseline and has produced significant litigation over calls and texts. Dialing a dealership's published sales or service line is business-to-business calling, not consumer solicitation, but any Florida campaign that runs dials or SMS at volume is worth putting in front of counsel before it goes live. On our side, the numbers are collected from public and dealer sources and licensed for your own use, never for resale.

Frequently asked questions
How many Florida dealership rooftops are in the database?
1,390, covering both the franchised new-car network and Florida's large independent dealer segment, from Miami-Dade through the I-4 corridor to Jacksonville and the Gulf Coast. FADA counts 939 new-car dealerships in the state, so the balance of our table is the independent side of the market.
How do I tell a franchised Florida rooftop from an independent one?
Use the OEM franchise filter. Franchised stores return under the brands they carry, so filtering to one or more franchises gives you the new-car network; the rooftops that no franchise filter returns are the independent segment. Employee count and years in business are useful second cuts, because independents skew smaller and younger than franchised points.
Does a Florida rooftop record include review scores or ratings?
No. Hermes Data does not track dealership reputation, so there are no sales or service review scores, no review counts and no star ratings in the product. The quality signals a record does carry are structural: live inventory, employee and decision-maker counts, founded year, years in business, and the website platform and martech the store runs.
What do Florida dealer records cost?
1 credit per rooftop, and a $0.99 trial includes 20 credits. Filtering and previewing are free, so the count for any Florida segment - a metro, a franchise, a size band - can be checked before you buy. Records you unlock stay on your account and can be re-downloaded as often as you like at no further cost.
